The region of the Ambition 2 occurrence is underlain by Early Jurassic granodiorite of the Cone Mountain Plutonic Suite which has intruded Upper Triassic volcanics and sediments of the Stuhini Group. A roof pendant of volcanic breccia about 600 metres long and 300 metres wide extends northeast from Dokdaon Creek.

One to two centimetres wide veins occur in an altered zone that is 10 metres wide and 50 metres long, in granodiorite. Up to 1 per cent chalcopyrite and 1 per cent pyrite is observed. About 200 metres north, quartz-carbonate veins up to 3 centimetres wide contain chalcopyrite and pyrite.

The Ambition 2 showing was documented in 1990 by West Sea Development Corp. Refer to Marg East (104G 089) for details of a common work history.
